Brewers capitalize on an error, come from behind to beat the Reds

The Brewers defeated the Reds 10-7 in Friday's series opener, rallying from behind with a decisive five-run fifth inning. Milwaukee's breakthrough came after a fielding error by Elly De La Cruz allowed runners to reach base with what should have been two outs, leading to a three-run triple and additional runs that gave the Brewers a lead they would not relinquish. Patrick earned the win while Lowder took the loss for Cincinnati, which scored early but could not overcome Milwaukee's offensive output in the later innings.
