Cincinnati Reds vs. Los Angeles Dodgers – September 8, 2026

The Reds face the Dodgers in the second game of their series Tuesday night in Los Angeles, with Cincinnati trailing 69-75 and Los Angeles leading 87-57. Left-hander Nick Lodolo will start for Cincinnati against Tarik Skubal, one of baseball's best pitchers who was recently traded to the Dodgers from Detroit. Lodolo has struggled this season with a 5.08 ERA over 85 innings but recorded a quality start against San Diego last week, while Skubal maintains elite control with a 4.2% walk rate and a 2.86 ERA. First pitch is scheduled for 10:10 PM EDT at Dodger Stadium.
