Latest Nick Krall rumors could be a trial balloon for Reds fans' outrage

Nick Krall is expected to remain as Cincinnati Reds president of baseball operations, a decision that has drawn significant backlash from fans frustrated with the team's performance under his leadership. While Krall himself stated he feels secure in his position and ESPN's Buster Olney reported league sources confirm he is on solid ground, the Reds ownership has not officially confirmed the decision. The timing of any potential replacement is complicated by an anticipated lockout on December 1, which would compress the hiring and onboarding process for a new baseball operations leader during a busy offseason.
