Milwaukee Brewers vs Cincinnati Reds – September 5, 2026

The Brewers and Reds play the second game of their series on September 5, 2026, with first pitch at 6:40pm ET at Great American Ball Park. Cincinnati looks to even the series after losing Friday's opener, while Milwaukee seeks another victory. Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott will face Brewers right-hander Dustin May, who was acquired at the trade deadline from St. Louis. Abbott has struggled recently, allowing seven earned runs in just nine outs against the Cubs, though he pitched well against Milwaukee earlier this season with two runs over five innings.
