Reds Activate Brandon Williamson

The Reds activated left-hander Brandon Williamson from the 60-day injured list after he missed the season since April with a shoulder injury. Williamson completed a rehab assignment in the minor leagues, posting a 5.94 ERA across six appearances, though he continues to struggle with control issues including a 15% walk rate. The team also recalled infielder Juan Brito, acquired from Cleveland at the trade deadline. Manager Terry Francona plans to use Williamson and young right-hander Chase Burns in a rotation partnership, with Williamson starting Wednesday against the Padres to help manage Burns' workload.
