Reds' Arizona Fall League roster could reveal their next wave of big leaguers

Drew Koch @ Blog Red Machine

The Cincinnati Reds sent eight prospects to the Arizona Fall League, where they will play for the Peoria Javelinas alongside prospects from four other organizations. The most notable prospect is 24-year-old first baseman Carter Graham, who hit 29 home runs with 93 RBIs while splitting time between High-A and Double-A this season. Two other key prospects heading to Arizona are infielder/outfielder Carlos Sanchez and former first-round pick Jay Allen II, all three of whom are Rule 5 eligible and will be evaluated for potential addition to the 40-man roster. The Reds also sent five right-handed pitchers, including pitcher Luke Holman, who will use the fall league to build innings after being limited to four starts due to injuries.
