Reds embarrassed by Dodgers in a loss that demands major changes

The Cincinnati Reds lost 14-1 to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, completing a sweep in which they were outscored 23-6 overall. Catcher Jose Trevino pitched for the sixth time this season, highlighting the team's struggles, while most of the starting lineup batted under .225 except for Elly De La Cruz, Sal Stewart, and Héctor Rodríguez. De La Cruz hit his fifth consecutive home run in the third inning, but the lopsided defeat has prompted calls for major organizational changes, including the removal of president of baseball operations Nick Krall and hitting coach Chris Valaika.
