Reds may be watching another future building block emerge at just the right time

The Cincinnati Reds made their Major League debut for 22-year-old right fielder Héctor Rodríguez after trading Nathaniel Lowe before the August 3 deadline. After a rough start of 2-for-27 in his first nine games, Rodríguez has heated up significantly since recording his first RBI on August 17, going 12-for-37 with four home runs and a 1.066 OPS. His recent performance suggests he is adjusting to the majors and may have already surpassed fellow prospect Noelvi Marte as the team's right field option going forward.
