Reds Sign Orlando Arcia To Minor League Deal

The Reds signed infielder Orlando Arcia to a minor league contract and assigned him to Triple-A Louisville after he spent time in the Mexican League. Arcia, 32, most recently played in the majors for the Twins in June, appearing in 19 games with a .271 batting average. The move provides depth for Cincinnati as Elly De La Cruz deals with a minor quad injury, with Matt McLain currently playing shortstop.
